About Canadian Driller Training Ltd.
Canadian Driller Training Ltd. was started in 1996 with the goal of providing experienced instruction for the diamond drilling industry. Our motto is “Strengthening the Drilling Industry.”
In 1996, the province of Ontario started the Common Core program for diamond driller certification. Since then we have worked with small, mid and large sized companies, colleges and governments around the world to train diamond drillers how to work safely and effectively.
Our main offices are located in the community of Garson, part the City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario. We are at the heart of the Northern Ontario mining industry.
Ed MacVeigh – President
Ed MacVeigh graduated from the Haileybury School of Mines in 1972 and is actively involved in the diamond drilling and mining industries.
Ed has worked as a service provider and training expert from both inside and outside the diamond drilling industry. He continues to be instrumental in the development, promotion and legislation of the Canadian Common Core Program, as a standardized training tool for the Drilling and Mining Industry.
Ed holds the presidency of Canadian Driller Training Ltd.
Therese MacVeigh – Office Manager
Therese is likely the first voice you will hear when you call Canadian Driller Training Ltd. She provides a variety of services to our staff and clients.
